ABOUT DONNA THE SINGER

Donna’s passion for singing began so early that she can’t ever recall not singing. Early on she played iconic roles in many musicals, including Ado Annie in Oklahoma, Anita in West Side Story, Catherine in The Me Nobody Knows and Sonia in Godspell.

Experiencing the magic that was Diana Ross in Lady Sings The Blues was a turning point for Donna, inspiring her in each of her three beloved genres: Jazz Standards, Rhythm & Blues and Cabaret. Her personal style has evolved to evoke Diana's emotional depth in Lady Sings The Blues, the naughtiness of Eartha Kitt and the energy of Jane Krakowski.  Donna has performed extensively as a jazz and cabaret artist in Boston, New York and France.

Donna has always written poetry and lyrics. Her most recent writing project was the theme song for the new comedy series Foot Soldiers entitled "Foot Soldiers Groovefor which she also provided the vocals.

"Donna, sparkling, charming and petite, comes from New Jersey, [and has] done theatre and dance. But above all, she sings divinely with a voice that will give you goose bumps."
